Stunning Statement 2014

As Spring turns to Summer, and Summer into Fall, seasonally updating your home can refresh an already existing space, such as your foyer.

Simply Natural 2012

Our designs were recently featured in the March 2012 issue of Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Don Riley of Don Riley Photography.

This design set draws attention to the entire room; they do not overwhelm this recently remodeled kitchen, they effectively enhance the overall character. The fresh manzanita branches aid in drawing the eye from floor to ceiling while the wooden containers in which they are designed fit together like puzzle pieces contributing to the rustic and traditional atmosphere. In this case, simplicity truly is beauty. By adding custom pieces to any living area you can create a significantly more elegant space.

Christmas in the City 2011

The hostess of this holiday party came to us with an intriguing concept; she wanted to incorporate her personal Christmas in the City village into her dining table centerpiece.  Using rolling mounds of snow illuminated from beneath, white ball ornaments nestled throughout, iridescent snowflakes glistening across the top of the snow, and fragrant sprays of fresh juniper nestled around each village piece, we brought her Christmas in the City village to life. The unique Christmas scene was used to trigger fond memories of past traditions and promote warm holiday sentiments. By featuring all white colored flowers including roses, South American hydrangea blooms, fragrant peonies and slender clusters of blooming narcissus bulbs, we were able to create a wintery, white wonderland and truly bring to life an already nostalgic scene.

Artificial Should Not Be a Compromise 2011

Often times artificial arrangements are seen as a budgetary compromise, however, here at Encore Style, we firmly believe that is simply not the case. When it comes to creating a silk arrangement the possibilities are as limitless as with fresh flower designs. Silks allow you to create style no matter which season and ensure longevity of your personalized design.

‘Tis the Season 2010

Christmas comes but once a year which is why we aim to make every year exceptional and unforgettable. In a season where tradition reigns supreme, we enjoy merging the classics with the posh. Whether that means new ornaments for your tree, exquisite bows for your garlands, or ornate stockings for above your fireplace, we are here to help you every step of the way.

The Candid Color Palette 2011

Color plays a major role in decorating any living space in your home. At our studio we take the color palette into consideration when creating anything for our clients because we believe a design is meant to enhance your personal style and creativity. We pull subtle colors from within the room and fold them into our designs in order to truly bring the room together. The purpose of every design is to bring fluidity and a touch of elegance to any room, not to draw all attention to itself.

Color congruency is not limited to the floral elements of your design, it applies to the containers as well. With the proper color, texture, and shape, a beautiful floral design can turn into a masterful, personalized element of style, perfectly catered to your home.

Spring is in the Air 2011

Spring traditionally marks the end of the boring drab that accompanies each winter.  Full of color and fresh new starts, spring is a perfect time to try some new design ideas. Try emphasizing the character of your home by incorporating some lime greens or oranges; it can truly make all the difference in the world. If vivid colors aren’t the road you want to travel, we also suggest new containers. Resurrecting an old pot or vase can be just the remedy to add new flair to a design to give you the subtle change you may need this spring.

Final Thoughts on Christmas 2011

It is never too early to think about Christmas. As another wonderful holiday season has come and gone, now is the best time to think back on this past year, while it is still at the forefront. We have discovered making small notes just after the season has ended will not only ease the design process for the following year, but it may inspire fresh, innovative ideas as well.
